The place was homey and quiet, no complaint, recommend. The staffs were lovely friendly & amicable. The location was magnificent, short walk to the Christmas market and less to bars, cinema and restaurants, and the centre of the City, and the free parking was an excellent bonus.

Having an electric kettle in the room was a convenient touch. It was also great that there were no pets allowed and no smoking on site.

The room we stayed in faced a busy road, which resulted in some traffic noise during our stay.

Incredible location! I couldn't believe how close I was to the historical sites. Walking along the York City Walls felt like stepping back in time. The view of Clifford's Tower was breathtaking, and I could practically touch the Priory Church of the Holy Trinity from my window!

We got great value for our money at this guest house - the room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed including a comfy sofa and fluffy towels. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the city centre and close to public transportation. The staff, especially Sara at the reception, were friendly and made us feel welcome.
